Final Thoughts on the Class

This class has really opened up my eyes about all the different aspects of art and how your able to incorpotrate it into your career. I enjoyed learning about the different movements everything from operas, to performance artist. I know I will more of a well rounded person due to this class.

Classmates Video Project

Adam- I enjoyed the moving objects and the audio helped enhance the visuals.
Brendon- Interesting club theme with effects
Ciara- Unique concept, very good!
Taylor- I liked the garden theme. It was very pretty and different.
Coleen- Good concept. It came out very well
John- I liked the digital work and animation!
Makayla- Very funny good job!

Performance Art

Classmates Performance Art

Taylor-That must have been hard to get yourself to break a cell phone. That was a great performance art piece.
Adam- I really enjoyed how you painted in sync with the music.
John- The Musical breakfast was really different and unique.
Berni- Painting with cherries was very unique and clever you did a gerat job!
Laura- Your performance art was funny and enjoyable.
Ciara- I really liked how you did traditional painting then used a glow light to include technology good job!
Shawn- Playing the guiatar with music was great idea!
Ryan- Your piece was very unique and different I really enjoyed it!
Perri- I never realized how much technology wastes away our life that was incredible!
Stacy-Your performance had a great message that we can live without technology.
Collen- I really liked the message you had about beauty being enhanced by technology.

Murad- The human christmnas tree was a great idea and it had a good meaning.
Victor- I liked how you created a song in under 3 minutes!
Makayla- Texting at dinner was a great idea about how we can communite so much with technology.

Damien Hirst

Damien Hirst is an artist like none other. His work of art through animals is abssolutly incredible. Like Santiago said some people consider art a form of wealth. And I would consider his art pieces increadibly vaulable because there no other artist yet that has the capabilites and knowledge that Damien has to produce this unique, and upscale art work.

Classmates Grid Project

Victor- You had a clever idea about a grid inside a grid very interesting!
Colleen- I liked the black and white eye it was an excellent drawing!
Taylor- I enjoyed the reflection grid it was a very different idea good job!
Makayla- The lamp was a very clever idea. I enjoyed all the colors you used.
Ryan- Your drawing was very nice and it looked time consuming. thought you did an excellent job dispite it wasnt what Santiago was looking for.
John- I liked the decomposing animal through coffee.
Perri-Your lollipop grid was great! I liked all the different colors and texturs it was fun to look at.
Stacy- The butterfly out of candy was such a unique idea way to go!
Berni- I really liked the idea of the flower inside the flower. Great Job!
Matthew- I enjoyed the fact that you created a guitar using your own grid.
Adam- The idea of using lights to enhance the grid was a "bright" idea! You did an amazing job putting it together.
Murad- I liked the fact that you used an everyday material to design your grid. It was a very good use of a grid.
Shawn- I liked how you did an animation grid using your name. Great idea!
Brandon- I enjoyed how you replicated Japanese art it was very unique!

Stacey-I liked how you amplified your hand it was very clever.
Taylor-I enjoyed the mirror idea it was very unique and it turned out very well.
Victor- You had a very clever design I liked that it was different.
Adam- I liked the different signs you did with your hands, and that was very clever that you did the recreation of adam. You did a very good job!
John- You had great detail in your project! Way to go!
Makayla-I enjoed the vines throughout your project it was very creative.
Murad-I really liked how you intertwined your culture with the project, and had the colorful paper.
Colleen- I liked how you utilized the neon colors!
Perri- It was creative how you mostly used your arms and legs to makke a different creature. It was very different.
Ryan- Your project was the only one to light up! Good Job it was very different and I liked how you utilized light to help enhance it.
